United Kingdom: Langford's June-July Update

A little known challenge of our fundraising process has been trying to keep both of our 40+ hour a week jobs and develop relationships and partnerships with churches to raise support. I (Audrey) currently work in management at Trinity Baptist Hospital in Birmingham.

I mention this first to share an encouragement.  This past week, I was walking over to the hospital lunchroom by myself, absentmindedly worrying about timelines, fundraising and things that remain undone.  As I walked down the familiar hallway, I looked up just in time to reread the scripture so plainly painted on the wall.
For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven. Ecc 3:1
What a great reminder for me (and for You)! No matter what season you find yourself in - no matter the time or difficulty - we serve a God that allows periods in our life for change and growth. It is a time of preparation and I am all the more grateful for this time when I keep in perspective what God is doing in preparing our hearts and the hearts of those we are going to serve.

Secondly, I mentioned work so that you all can rejoice with us.  Zach will be transitioning out of full time work at the end of this month to focus on the last of our fundraising effort. That's right -- you read it -- the last! We are overjoyed to report our Living Link support is now at 92%.  Please continue to pray for partnerships with individuals and churches.  We are so close to the end of this season.  If you know of someone who may be interested in learning more about Three Worlds or supporting ministry with at-risk youth, please feel free to share our contact information or newsletter.  We would be happy to arrange a time to speak by phone, Skype or even arrange a visit.
