Spring Break to Mexico 2016 - 6

I think it's Friday... I'm not quite sure though, it's been a long but good week. Today we finished the house. Hallelujah! Casa Rosita (pink) is a 16'x20' home for a family of 6. It was such an honor and blessing to hand the family the keys today, pray for them and share a meal together. Everyone did a tremendous job working on the house, finding ways to add little touches to the house like handprints in concrete before the shower house or a dining table and chairs. I am doubly blessed to work with such a great team from CCCOG and build a home for a wonderful and loving family.
This evening capped the week off with an exclamation point of what God has been doing in and through each of us. We gathered together for foot washing and took time to do as Jesus instructs his disciples to go and do likewise. It cemented the truth that we are not more than those we serve and those who send are not above those who are sent. There were moments of mother washing son's feet, daughter washing mother's feet and not a dry eye in the room.
We have truly been blessed by this week of serving and seeing God's Kingdom expand because of His faithful followers.

Until next time Vicente Guerrero and Welcome Home Outreach.
