Albania: Demo's May Update

On the 29th of May, 2004, God united us (Edi and Bona) in marriage. It has been a decade now and we both are very thankful to the Lord for the wonderful things He has done in our lives. God has been so faithful to us. gave to us, and we also are thankful to Him for guiding us in the challenges that we have been facing during these years. We are so thankful to Him for the great gifts that He by His mercy has given us, and we also are thankful to Him for guiding us in the challenges that we have been facing during these years. We are thankful to the Lord that in recent months Bona's health has been better. Our prayer is that in the coming years we will continue to live a life that gives God glory in all aspects.

The Disciples Church
The seed of the gospel is being spread to so many lives in the Don Bosko area. The Kingdom of God is growing and it is He who is building His church. As a ministry we have been very blessed with the progress in Disciples Church. As you know we have already started there with English classes. This class is being transformed into a Bible study class, because every time we meet we are engaged in many discussions about the gospel.  On Saturdays we invite English students to stay for the church service afterwards, as that is when we hold the services. Last Saturday was very interesting because we couldn’t see exactly when the English class stopped and when the church service started. The only difference was the language, from English to Albanian. I am telling this because I was so amazed to see how eager these people were to listen to the word of God in English class. They said to us, “Please continue to tell us more, don’t stop!” so we continued the church service.
Alex and Arber are among the first fruits of the Gospel in this church. They have come to know the Lord and are taking part in personal Bible study now. Adriatik and Blerina together with their two children have started to attend Disciples Church. They are an Albanian couple who returned after living a long time in the United Kingdom.

Eklesia Church
Many families are coming now to this church especially in the last few months. This hasn’t happened out of the blue; the children who have been attending the church has influenced their parents to attend as well. We praise the Lord for opening their hearts to the gospel. During this month we decided to do a picnic with all the parents of these families. We wanted them to get better connected to one another. It was a fantastic time of prayer, fellowship, songs and great conversations. We praise the Lord for adding so many families to the church.
