Albania: Demo Family September Update

God has blessed our ministry. As you know this year we are busy with two churches that have been planted, Eklesia Church and Disciples Church. Both churches are growing fast in number and in discipleship. Our commitment is to establish healthy churches and to maintain the discipleship process. As you already may know, we are the first generation of Christians in Albania and we want new believers to be closely discipled and have a strong personal relationship with the Lord so that the generations that will come will learn from them to obey and walk closely with God. With the growth of our ministry on the field, we have found it necessary to add full time workers to our team. Through God’s grace, we were able to add two new staff members to our ministry. Their names are Dhurata and Sonila. Dhurata comes from a Muslim background and came to know the Lord in 1997. She has two children; Deborah is nine years old and Grace is seven years old. Her husband was a church planter and pastor for many years; he died three years ago from cancer. Dhurata is a great woman of God with a wonderful heart and much experience with evangelism and discipleship of women. Sonila also comes from a Muslim background and came to know the Lord in 1992. She is also a great blessing because of her commitment to the Lord. Her love for Jesus and for spreading the good news of salvation is evident. She also has much experience with evangelism and discipleship of women. Dhurata and Sonila will be working closely with Erlind for Disciples Church. Since we have had many women come and attend our services, we needed Dhurata and Sonila to help with discipleship and evangelism of ladies in Disciples Church. Please continue to pray for our full time staff, that God will lead us and that we will obey Him in every direction that He leads.
