Who: Zach and Audrey Langford
Background: Zach - Florida native, Audrey - TKK (third culture kid) & teacher, Both served in UK in 2010.
With: 3 Worlds - Engaging youth in cross-cultural missions, supporting leaders & connecting local churches
While in the process of raising support, Zach and Audrey are still closely connected with the Birkenhead Church of God where they spent 18 months working with the youth and community. Over the past two months they have been working hard to connect with more ministry partners. They have increased those partnerships and have come several steps closer to our departure date. Though not physically with the church in Birkenhead they often feel that they are.
Lately in Liverpool
Every Wednesday the ladies at Birkenhead Church of God meet together for a time fellowship. The vision was to meet together to share a meal and support one another on their spiritual journey. A small group of
dedicated people whose desire is to make a difference. As Linda Pemberton recalls, "I prayed for more ladies to come, but God sent men instead. Isn't this a ladies meeting? "We accepted the men because God heard our cry. Who are we to send them away?" The small group has grown from a few to a group of, on average, 15 women and men from other churches and walks of life. Each week they share a common meal, have a guest speaker and share scripture. What is the vision/cry of your church or small group? Maybe God will answer in a way you never expected.
Prayer Requests
• Continued encouragement and renewal for leadership at Birkenhead Church of God.
• Lift up the group of teenagers that meet as they face life's challenges.
• For the growing conversations between the parents and the youth leaders.
• Pray for our continued partnership building. We are looking forward to returning to England.
