Albania: Demo Family June Update

During June we have continued to visit our church members in their home to build strong relationships with them, to pray with them, and draw closer with them. We believe this is very important to strengthen the health of the church.

This past month we had a close partnership with ABC Health Clinic in Albania. This is a Christian organization of medical doctors and nurses that has operated in Albania for a very long time. Jen Bitterman was very glad to help us serve the Don Bosko neighborhood. Our cooperative work with them will last two weeks--one week each in Don Bosko and Yzberisht--during the last half of July. In one week we were able to examine 165 people, who also had the opportunity to hear about Jesus and receive Bibles. It was such a blessing to witness people hearing about Jesus in the midst of their needs while waiting to be examined by the Christian doctors, and to pray with them after the check-up.

We want to ask you if you can pray that God will continue to provide financially for the summer projects that we are going to have with both churches. Please also pray that God will use these projects for his honor and glory.
Here are some of the projects for July:

1) English Classes for adults and children;
2) a Dutch group  assisting us with ministry;
3) an Italian teenage group coming for ten days;
4) Discipleship Camp at the end of July;
5) Health Clinics;
6) Albanian dentists volunteering services in Yzberisht area--another first!

As a family we have been doing well. We continue to praise the Lord for Bona's health which has been good in recent months. Noel and Sion are on vacation from school and they have been very close to us and active with us in the ministry. We love it. They love soccer, and their preferred teams are the Netherlands and USA. They were so upset when USA lost against Belgium. They hoped that the Netherlands would win the World Cup. Most Albanians love soccer and are huge fans of the Netherlands!
