Eklesia Church
As you may remember Genti and
Sara began serving alongside us
at Eklesia Church. This month
has been a very intensive training
time for them--reading a lot of
ministry books and materials--
and I am very encouraged because
of their zeal for God. Sara
is also studying economy at University
while ministering, and we
would appreciate
your prayers,
that the Lord
will give her
strength and
wisdom to manage
her time.
Even though it
has not been
easy especially for Genti and his
wife Renalda because of the great
oppositions that they are facing
from Genti’s parents, since they
are coming from a Muslim background.
Genti and Renalda need
much
prayer
that
God
will
soften
the
hearts of their family members.
These months have been wonderful for our family. Generally Bona's health has been very well except the last few weeks when she has again had some issues. She is under medication and is doing ok with the exception that she feels tired in the evening. But Bona is a very strong woman and I am so thankful that God has put her by my side. She is taking on the challenge of driving in Tirana. Those of you that have been in Tirana know how the traffic is here-- very crazy, not many rules :) --but Bona has finally summoned up the courage to drive by herself. Noel and Sion are also doing very well. We as parents are very blessed by them; they have a sweet spirit and much zeal for the Word of God, challenging us in Bible memorization. I, Edi, have been very busy with the ministry and seminary studies, which require a lot of time. However, busy as I am, I have put my time with my family as a high priority. Please pray that God will continue to strengthen Bona and that we as a family will be a light and a testimony to the people around us in the way we live our lives and walk with God.
Opportunity: Another opportunity has opened to us: the director of the high school has asked us if we would help connect this school with another school outside of Albania in a sort of matched partnership. If you know a Christian high school that would consider participating in this level of connection with this high school in Albania it would be a wonderful thing; please contact us and we can talk more in detail about it.
The Demos
